BBC to drag us through it all again...
Just when you think the Scouse love-in could not get any worse, the BBC announce they are going to show the whole 2006 FA Cup as a live rerun on the 23rd May.
Enjoy!

Re: BBC to drag us through it all again...
Watched the full match for the first time in 14 years and, to be honest, didn’t feel as pissed off.
We played so well that day, Gabbidon was a rock, Ashton was immense and Yossi was my Man of the Match.

There was still 5 mins to play after that freak goal and Liverpool were pushing for a winner, so I don’t believe the whistle would have went, had Scaloni let the ball run off. His stupidity was kicking the ball off when Cisse went down.

I thought our Midfield got over-run when Fletcher came off and often wonder if we missed Mullins in that game.
With the exception of Zamora coming on for a knackered Ashton, the substitutions put us at a disadvantage as we lost our shape towards the end, so Pardew has to shoulder some blame for that.

Missing 3 penalties in a shootout is criminal whatever people say about Reina’s performance.

I’d advise anyone who hasn’t, to watch it on BBC iPlayer and exorcise them demons!

Looking back.

No way Shaka could have saved that.

But wonder if he should have been on the edge of the 6 yard box. ? Caught a bit flat footed.

Didn't realise Reina had tipped onto the post at the end until about 3 days later 😢😢

To be honest, as well as we played all 3 goals had more than a touch of jammy about them.

We helped produce the best modern time fa cup final, just didnt go our way unfortunately.

Such is the way with football, I wasnt really gutted about it at all.

Was proud of the team and as every ex liverpool player who is a pundit is basically a cunt anyway, never let them bother me with their bias etc.

Re: BBC to drag us through it all again...
Having witnessed this game being there I don't think I'll ever be able to watch it again. I can still vividly see Gerrard smash it from where I stood behind the goal at the opposite end.

Most paint moment supporting west ham but also proudest...the way we all stood behind at the end was something special. I can't ever remember another team doing that. Gerrard proper bigs us up for it in his autobiography.
